  1. Thank you for introducing me to #3 Gomez “Little Pieces” as I hadn’t heard it before and now I love it! “Life Uncommon” by Jewel is one of my favourite songs so it’s great to see it being included in someone’s recommendations. A great list! 🙂

      1. I already knew Gomez as I love their song “Whippin’ Piccadilly” but not “Little Things”. It’s great when a TV show or film introduces people to songs they may never of heard of before. I am so jealous you saw Jewel, I bet she was amazing 🙂

  2. I’m loving Philosophia so far. I love that this playlist features The Glitch Mob – one of my favorites! And that you end with Latika’s theme is beautiful – a playlist staple of mine. I’d never thought of placing Alanis into a yoga playlist… ideas, ideas!

… also did I see up there that this list was inspired by Grey’s Anatomy? Soundtracks are great resources.

Hope all is well! Thank you for sharing.

    1. Little Pieces was from the Grey’s soundtrack! I agree soundtracks have great songs for classes on them.

I heard Philosophia for the first time while I was riding on a bus across Spain. I believe it was an iTunes free thing or something and I remember hearing it there while reading Into the Wild. The whole thing resonated so deeply that it has been one of my favorite songs ever since, for what it represents. I wrote the lyrics into the front of my copy of that book. Maybe I should start writing one song memory with the playlist a week. At least it is fun for me!

Tell me what you think.
